How to Make Teaching Feel Less like a Distraction from Research and More like a Means for Enriching It

Facilitator: Ada Aka, CETLI Graduate Fellow, Psychology
Convener: Professors Coren Apicella and Delphine Dahan, Psychology

As instructors, we may sometimes feel like teaching takes us away from research. In this work, we would like to discuss the benefits to seeing teaching and research as sharing the aim of educating others: students, lab members, the general public, or ourselves.

This event counts as credit towards the Center for Excellence in Teaching, Learning & Innovation (CETLI) teaching certificate. Since this is a lunch time workshop, lunch boxes from Chipotle will be provided afterwards. Please register by emailing (adaaka@wharton.upenn.edu) before Tuesday, December 7th at 10am if you would like to get food and/or CETLI credit.
