NEW DATE: How to Incorporate Observational Exercises into Your Syllabus? A Workshop on Built Environmental Literacy

Facilitator: Maryam Khojasteh, CETLI Graduate Fellow, City & Regional Planning
Convener: Professor Dominic Vitiello, City & Regional Planning

Professor Vitiello will run a workshop on how to design and execute an observational exercise as part of your syllabus. The workshop hopes to introduce future educators to various ways that students can increase their built environment literacy. We will spent a few minutes to talk through the process of designing and structuring a meaningful exercise. After that, we will take the workshop outside and into West Philadelphia to have a hands-on experience with executing such exercise. Please RSVP to Maryam Khojasteh (maryamkh@upenn.edu) by Monday night, so she can make sure that no one is left behind once we head out for the tour.

All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the City & Regional Planning department and so may be most useful to students in related fields.

Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
