Responding to Frustrated Students

Facilitator: Zachary Loeb, CETLI Graduate Fellow, History and Sociology of Science
Convener: Drs. Meggie Crnic, Andi Johnson and Projit Mukharji, History and Sociology of Science

Please join us for a CETLI-teaching workshop and discussion on “Responding to frustrated students” led by Meggie Crnic, Andy Johnson, and Projit Mukharji on Tuesday 2/16 at 9:30 a.m. Our students come from a wide range of backgrounds and confront a variety of different challenges in and around the classroom. In this session, we will discuss how to constructively respond to student frustration with issues ranging from due dates to grades to course content.

All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the History & Sociology of Science department and so may be most useful to students in related fields.

Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
