Teaching about “ENEMY #1”

Relying on nearly 25 years of experience in teaching Russian Politics, Dr. Rudra Sil will discuss the intellectual challenges and delicate nature of sticking to a logical and precise framework despite volatile contexts and highly charged emotions about the subject matter. The workshop will also engage the special challenges of addressing students whose identities are connected to course content at varying degrees. Dr. Sil will be joined by his current TA. All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Polticial Science department and so may be most useful to students in related fields.
