Teaching as the Mission & Making WHOOPEE

Facilitator: Karren Knowlton, CETLI Graduate Fellow, Management
Convener: Professor Pete Fader, Marketing

This will be an exciting, two part workshop:

1) Professor Fader will share his perspective on teaching as the mission of our profession and how to navigate this mission as a faculty member at a research-driven institution;

2) He will also discuss a cutting-edge tool which he has helped develop for grading student assignments (the acronym is WHOOPEE* :D), based on a proprietary algorithm. I personally cannot wait to use WHOOPEE some day and believe it will drastically shift what grading/assessment looks like in the future.

*The Wharton Online Ordinal Peer Performance Evaluation Engine

We hope to see you there! And as always, there will be snacks; please RSVP!
