Teaching with COVID-19 Data

Facilitator: Lauren Harris, CETLI Graduate Fellow, Sociology
Convener: Professor Courtney Boen, Sociology

Join Sociology Assistant Professor Courtney Boen in a discussion of how to incorporate COVID-19 data into teaching. She will particularly focus on how to use this data in teaching health and race inequality, teaching through an anti-racist lens, and broadly incorporating real-world contexts.

All graduate students are welcome. This event grows out of concerns in the Sociology department and so may be most useful to students in related fields.

Counts toward the CETLI Teaching Certificate.
