Difficulties, losses, grief, and frustrations have been collectively experienced in the past several months; As such effects of the pandemic and quarantine continue on into the fall semester, we must consider the ways in which this moment demands that we constantly welcome malleability into our teaching and into our classZooms. In this workshop we will collectively and critically grapple with some of the following questions:
How do we align or negotiate our teaching goals/expectations with our students’ needs in this time?
How do we tend to the exhaustion and grief that will arise in these remote modes of teaching?
In what ways can we creatively build and maintain community in our online classes?
